Been wif prev owner for more than 2 yrs.

Now trying to acclimatise in my tank (using those temp holding container,

each tang 1 side).

try to feed them formula 2 pellets but they seem to stress to eat.

pls advise how I should proceed.

:thanks: greatly appreciated :(

let them stabilise in ur tank first...try again tmr..shld be able to eat pellets..unless the previous owner did not give pellets..in tis case then must wait awhile longer...

:D fishes will not eat immediately once they are introduce into your tank...

:D my 2 cents worth..

about the seaweed...its is sold in local NTUC markets

the seaweed name is "Nori" or "YakiNori"

Prepare the Nori by first boiling in water for around 5-10minutes to remove all msg and stuff...

Soak In Garlic Juice and then just pour into tank lor...

Tang will go crazy over it once they smell it

MY REGAL TANG LOVES THEM!

I use the cheapest type bought from the market or medical shops - 1 round pack for 70cents. All I did was to cut them up to suitable sizes so that the fish can just peck and swallow them. Soaked them in garlic juice and then feed them in small amounts. Now I mixed the seaweeds with other food, e.g. chopped fish meat, cyclopeez, daphnias, vitamin, etc.

The type I am using is not Nori but those for making soup. Not so nice as nori. I don't have to boil them. I cut alot ready for use any time. So far, it's very safe because my 1in baby blue tangs are now 3ins.
