SRC Member reeff Posted September 12, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted September 12, 2003 Help! What should I do if my solo anthias has a bubble in it's left eye? More bubbles seems to be forming and the eye s getting bigger!! The other fish are alright but the anthias seeems to be less active and sometimes try to hide it's head in the LR crevices.... Is it infectious? Will my poor anthias die???
FuEl
Amputate the eye...it will survive fine with 1 eye Like one of my pipefish with 1 eye. give it a piece of black cloth too. SRC Member IcecruncherZ Posted September 12, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted September 12, 2003 The FW dip will not work for Gas Bubble Disease. It will however work for Pop eye, which Some believe to be parasitic in nature... althought the article states that its due to physical injury and subsequent infection...
