Help! Bubble In The Eye!

Help! What should I do if my solo anthias has a bubble in it's left eye? More bubbles seems to be forming and the eye s getting bigger!! The other fish are alright but the anthias seeems to be less active and sometimes try to hide it's head in the LR crevices....

Is it infectious? Will my poor anthias die???

Amputate the eye...it will survive fine with 1 eye

Like one of my pipefish with 1 eye. give it a piece of black cloth too.

try a aged freshwater dip... for 1 min

The FW dip will not work for Gas Bubble Disease. It will however work for Pop eye, which Some believe to be parasitic in nature... althought the article states that its due to physical injury and subsequent infection...

Thanks guyz Guess I'll just leave the poor fish alone. It's been hiding under the expanded hammer all this while and the eye seems to be 3 x the original size

people told me that its becoz of high nitrogen level in the water...

My butterflies & pocupine get popeye whenever my water parameter worsen. Usually do a 20-30 % water chg and the chaps will recover in few days.
