Anemone & Damsel

Recently I bought a small anemone (don't know its id) - the one with orange color base, thinking that my clownfishes will able to have 'something to play with'. However, my domino damsel is the one that 'play' with it - swimming in and out in. My clownfishes simply ignore the anemone

Wondering why is it so...

damsels are known to host anemone when they are still a juveniles...

clowns must see their compatibility..

speaking about it.. i suspect u bought a red base anemone something they can be like red... normal clowns won't host them..

Yes actually damsel are some what related to clown fish and domino or humbug are known to host on anemone

that u got to see.. if they will clean up or not.. its like humans.. some very messy and some very tidy..

Will it bring food to the anemone? I know nemo does.

better u go see.. sometimes it will but domino damsels it will host untill

it grows big only as juveniles..

in the wild it anemones eat damsels u know..
