Dear Friends , Teo is outstation and will only be back after a week ,the tank is now on the curing state for the silicone to dry. so there will not be any posting until end next week. Project is done by Aquarmarine so far so good.

Hi, I believe the height is 4ft and the chamber is 8in diameter.

The tank maker is here to fix the pipings. Look at all these fittings in the box.

2X Overflow pipes for water into the first sump chamber.

Note the heat exchanger on the left of the sump tank.

2x Ehein 1262 return pumps to the main tank. First return goes to the chiller heat exchanger before returning to the main tank.

The second return (half completed) will T off to the calcium reactor and return to the main tank.

Using these 2 pumps to drive the skimmer. The slipper is used to hit the pumps in case they refuse to start.

Hello my friend,

Initially I was thinking the same as you. But now I found out that the owner has a lot to do too. First, I had to research to find a reliable lfs. Then I had to work out a concept for the tank and to communicate this concept to the lfs. When it comes to installation, there are a lot coordination work between the electricians, chiller maker, tank maker, carpenter, etc. All these for a working person is not easy.

Like what you said, equally important is the $. Some sacrifices to save for the tank. Hope everything will work out.

The lfs recommended this fish. They say it generates no waste and does not require feeding at all. Is this true? The colour seems quite nice though.

The MHs are here. It will be 3X 250W MH with E ballast and BLV10K bulb. They will be connected to a auto cut off if tank temperature exceeds 29.5C.
