Looking at the analysis of the products, it seems that the Shrimp is better than the Mysis Shrimp.

The size, colour and almost everything is the same. Except for the word "Mysis" and content analysis.

I am not sure if the one without "mysis" is actual mysis. But when I ask to buy mysis shrimp in LFS I was given the one without "mysis". When I highlighted to the LFS they then realised there is a difference.

So to be sure I now look for the word "mysis".

That is not true. If you wish to feed shrimp to corals, esp LPS, you should only use Mysis. Anything larger is Very Bad for the coral.

Also Mysis is much higher in nutrition content than for eg Brine Shrimp.

This shrimp looks more nutritionous than mysis. Anyway, mysiids are freshwater animals and it can't sustain marine fish forever. They need to be fed fresh seafood once in a while.

Are they a too large for LPSes? Cos I bought a packet and it seems so much larger than mysis, so I use it for my fishes only... any idea what kinda shrimp it is? (if there even is a specific name for 'em)

actually hor, the one with the word 'mysis' has larger size shrimp whereas the other offers much smaller sized shrimp

I accidentally bought 3 packs of the 'shrimps' and fed them to my fish. It is bigger in size and all my fish take it. Even my Ricordia Yuma and sun coral are eating it. So, I think no problem. Seems quite nutritious.

Maybe Hikari has switched to this 'shrimp' to replace 'mysis shrimp' and will stop producing 'mysis'? That's why they used the same colour?
