whats a hardy coral? and brown sand?

as in it doesn't require much and its simple to maintain?

i like to start slow instead of getting the nicest and then watch them die slowly

whats a good temperature for them? my tank is running 29 degrees now i can set up to run about 27 if need be..

lastly my sand is turning from nice white to a funny looking brown.. whats that?? algae??

Your question kind of .... confusing. You asking what's "hardy" coral?

It mean corals that can tolerate a wide range of environment, hence better survivability in aquarium.

If you are asking what's "hard" coral ( no -y ), those corals got hard and stone like body or base.

How "funny" is it? Best post pic, else ppl all imagining their own "funny", then you get more "funny" replies.

If it look kind of hairy or soft, thin layer, no bubble, then its likely is diatom. Small patches of them are ok, since some live stocks take them as food. Its consider phytoplankton ( if I'm not mistaken )

If got bubble, can be bad thing like cynao or dino(-something) thingy.

another a bunch of white tentacles in a ball underneath another rock.. v small now bout 0.5 " long.. wats that also.. i kno pics.. but ican barely see it myself.. any i dare not stick my hands in liao

u can try keeping chili padi.. it's red in color.. hardy as well...
