methinks 26-28 deg is a common setting for most people. Anything higher will be bad for your corals, anything lower in current Singapore temp will make your chiller work overtime. And a 2-deg range is the max advisable, major temp fluctuations are bad for corals.

Be teachable always, nobody has a monopoly on wisdom. But learn to distinguish "fact" from "opinion".
