If so, Our Client invites you to join our research team based in Singapore. Our client is highly recognized for innovative performance management consulting in the reef conservation and aquaculture business. Nearly 70% of revenues result from global consulting engagements that affect human capital strategy, customer strategy, and brand strategy.

As a Marine researcher, you are accountable for managing the research facility which is going to be established and start up in one of the mini islands of Singapore. Your job is to research and understand the reef of Singapore and some parts of Indonesia and to know current reserach trends that may influence the success of reef conservation. Key responsibilities include: managing a database of marine species; establishing key contacts with the local Agricultural Authority, Parks management authority; educating and touring the common public, foreign research delegates and the national universities of Australia during research visits; and reporting to Australia HQ on findings and solutions via in-person meetings, telephone calls, mailings, and networking, internet conferencing.

You will also collaborate with our partners, National Geographic to strategize about new laboratory findings; create solution proposals; documentaries. You are the front end of an engagement pursuit team, energizing and supporting your team in the strategic pursuit of preserving life and generating funding to do so.

Candidates for this position are required to have extensive experience/background in administrative support and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Having reef keeping experience will be an added advantage. Candidates for this opportunity must be Resident Singaporeans.

Selected candidates will be given a free visit to our Client's Office in Australia and undergo a 2 week intensive training. A PADI scuba diving training course will be part of the training. Candidates who perform well in this training will be given the opportunity to undergo a degree in Marine biology with a Prestigoius training provider. Selected candiates will expect an attractive annual remuneration package of $45k minimum.
