SRC Member dandelion76 Posted July 7, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted July 7, 2005 Hi Reefers, Have kept this prata for months and it's thriving in my small 2'x1.5'x1' set up. Kept this guy in friend's tank for a week plus due to moving house, and for some unknown reason its tissue receed and today when I collect from friend's place it looks like this guy is almost gone. Shouldn't be any problem with my friend's tank as he has got 4 pratas in the same tank doing very well. So, what should i do now to try to save this poor guy? It's a pity to lost my one and only prata at moment... Although i have already expecting the worst scenario before moving house but now still Thanks in advance.. This is how the prata looks before the moving house...

SRC Member Alvin Tan Posted July 7, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted July 7, 2005 it could be due to transport stress tt lead to the shock of the corals.. SRC Member dandelion76 Posted July 7, 2005 Author SRC Member Share Posted July 7, 2005 it's not feeding anymore.. so really i do know the chances of salvaging this fellow is slim. Will probably try lugols dip tomorrow (now don't have lugols wif me now ).
SRC Member koniyakutz Posted July 7, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted July 7, 2005 I once had a prata which looked like that after I got it from anothe bro, I suspect it due to shock b'cos of the different tank parameters. Sadly, mine did not servive despite TLV. Alage started growing on its skeleton and it wasted away.
SRC Member prec Posted July 10, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted July 10, 2005 try placing it in some really slow flow area... giving it occasional sudden flow of current at times.. and then... PRAY..
