Price of true percula clown?

Anyone know how much is a pair of true percula clown?

I saw one LFs selling it at $100 - 400 but they indeed have unique patterns on their bodies.

thinking of getting one for my wife.

another question is which anenome is REEF SAFE?

Good True Perculas that are big healthy and have beautiful colouration of nice "jetblack jacket" and nice deep orangy overalls can fetch that sort of price expecially if in pairs.

However, personally to me its way over-priced especially when True Percs are quite easy to pair and moreover it is just a clown fish.

i will rather get the normal true perc...those $12-$16 ones..those ex one are nice..but it is stll nt worth for a clownfish..my 2 cents..

Perculas are usually selling at around $12 - $15. A matched pair is expensive. One fish farm at LCK selling between $100 - $600 a pair. Unless we want to breed perculas we don't spend so much - that's crazy!!! I bought one at $8 - clearance sale. Its colour then was not too good. Now, in my reef tank it's beautiful. Its jacket had turned from dark grey to jetblack and the yellow body turned deep orange.

To me "A true percula is still only a clownfish". I have both types - a percular and 3 ordinary clowns ($3 each). Each type has its own beauty.

yes this is the farm where i saw those expensive pair.

btw...these pair are very beautiful cannot compare to those normal ones...

been to a few lfs..not "black" true clown

need to spend time searching in cheap and good ones
