diy over flow pipe

Interesting.

Is this an overflow pipe or need a submersible pump to suck water out? So from your diy sump, do you need another pump to suck back the water into the tank? Can tell where you get the parts of your diy pipe?

If possible pls show more photos of your out, in pipe to the sump and also photo of your sump.

Thank you.

if dere is 2 pumps running the overflow..it is nt a gd idea even wif 2 pumps of the same kind...eventually...one of them will wear out and run abit slower den the other...therefore..the flowrate is nt synchronise...bro...try using gravity...much more trustworthy...and use a return pump of cuz...my 2 cents worth of advice if you are using 2 pumps 2 do the job...

I only use 1 return pump to pump the water from the sump to

main tank.

It is a DIY overflow pipe, The material I get from normal fish shop.

Thanks. What is the flow rate / power of the return pump? What brand is that?

that depend on the rate of the overflow pipe.

The flow rate of the overflow pipe is depend on the

depth of the pipe in the main tank. So If the pipe is

not deep enough, the flow will be very slow. So

if you get a strong pump, you actually dry up the sump

tank and flood the main tank.....

I've tried looking for around 5 to 6 lfs including C328, polyart and some shops in Pasir Ris fishfarm still couldn't find your 2 U-connection and that T-joint of that size.

Are your U-connection joined by 2 L-tube? Most L-tubes available at the lfs cannot be joined together as they are of the same size. Do you mind telling which lfs you buy from?

The top U-join, is there an outlet for priming? As the photo can't see clearly.

Thank you.
