I using "ehiem wave maker" also known as Rain Bar.

My tank no need any as my return pump 2500l/hr is strong enough and the rain bar creates enough current for the tank.

As for my brain. It's cause I feed it regularly with market prawn & cyclopeeze. Brain also don't need too much current .

What was the colour when you got it. Mine when I bought the tentacles were already green. If yours were green then changed to white, Might have been bleached due to either water parameters or lighting. I'm not too sure but there may be other factors as well.

Maybe you can try posting your question on the help section to get other reefer's opinions.
