How come my Macro NW skimmer got lots of Bubbles

Like got a lot of minute bubbles floating in the main tank with my macro 350 needlewheel running. any ideas? would be greatly appreciated if you can enlighten me on how to get rid of the bubbles. Thanks

Skimmer/Chiller : Sicce 2500lph

Skimmer : Weipro 2011

Lightings: 4xT5s HO..2 20,000k & 2 Blue Pro(Aquaz) Retrofits

Chiller : Resun CL280

Auto Water Top Up

Life Stock:

More then 35kg of figi rocks

make sure your venturi is FIRMLY connected to the inlet of the pump. i've noticed that if you don't connect it firmly, the bubbles created are less(causing more water-gushes-turbulence) and may cause the bubble to escape out via the skimmer pipe.

put filter bags on the o/p tubes to the skimmer

can also use sponges as air trap... find some ways to force the skimmer output go through the sponge.

may not solve yr problem 100% but u should see good improvement in reduction of air bubbles.

where does ur skimmer output go into? straight into tank or into sump?

If straight into tank then u only got a few options, sponge is one of them.. if u going into sump then u can always baffle it or use some filter wool to trap the air...
