i m using 10000k 150w x2 with 2 3ft actinic FL... dun have the blueish effect leh.

the actual look is whiter than that....I am running 2X 250W 14000k with one 3ft coralife actinic...so more bluish...not so sure it is suitable for clams though...hmmm..........

remember...I use to run 2 x 250w 10000K...its yellowish lah...your actinics will only prevent it from giving a yellow look...but wont give it a bluish look....totally different things ...cannot compare this way

this guy is mild.....it is definitely reefsafe...same family as the blue cheek trigger

more blue for sps..more yellow (higher PAR) for the clams

Hmm..why not change both bulbs to 10,000K and supplement with actinic T5s? At least color more uniform mah..brighter also.
