hi coal reef, a 3 by 2 by 2 8mm cost abt 170. if you go for a 10mm, it will be much higher. try looking into yahoo.com.sg under autions n look for a guy name edmund. so far he had given me the best price. if u only want a low profile type, say 3 by 18" by 18" 6mm, then let me know, i can get for only 35.

3X1.5X15 with 6mm...not thick enough

i agree that 6mm is not thick enough. but y r u worry abt the thickness? many tot that the thicker the better n it's only true to a certain extent. a 6mm glass has proven 2 b strong enough 4 a 3 by 1.5 by 1.5. anything higher then u will need 2 increase the thickness.

i hav a fren who has a 6mm glass tank n it has been around for more than a yr.

i hav another who owns a 10mm glass tank n it crack only after abt 2 mths due to a small line crack.

so it all boils down to 1 pt, tat is as long as the seal is properly done up, the tank should not crack easily.

try to understand the theory of a tank n u will agree.

cheers..............

So...the silicon gel has to be a lot??

My new tank...the silicon gel inside the tank is like...very little.....but then...when I transferred all the stock then I realise it......what can be done without taking the stock out again and add more gel...it's only on some parts
