am i right that a pH buffer raise pH while maintaining dKH

and a dKH buffer rasie alkainlity while maintaining pH?

Do i need both of this addictives ...

there are soooo many kind of addictives and some of them seems to

overlap each other ...

Yea,u are rite

In fact u don't have to get so many ADDITIVES,you just have to drip kalk into your tank and it will raise pH,kH and maintain Ca levels

Actually the cabonates that you find in kalkwasser is mostly in the form of CaCO3 and this is the insoluble layer at the top when the kalkwasser is exposed to CO2 in the air.

Best way to give the best of both worlds is to run a CR and drip kalkwasser

u are rite, kalkwasser will solve all problem it will maintain the CA and MG, good product i must say

don't think its good to use any pH buffer for marine tank. You need to tackle the pH problem at its cause.

KH buffer is to reduce high pH swing.

Why DO U NEED BUFFER , if your system is stable by itself.

Don't solve the problem which might not be problem at all.

PH swing of 0.2-0.5 is acceptable ( some said acceptable to 0.7 range if it's in the closed room , where will have excessed CO2 in the air ).

Kh, u don't need to mention, unless u want coraline alge and stony coral
