Well you could have a dedicated pump that runs in a closed loop for currents, use a SCWD on your return or you can use wavemakers like the Tunze Streams

It all depends on what type of currents you want but generally multidirectional currents would be great :lol:

Macro has come up with a new wave making device which involves the use of a few powerheads and the macro controller

its a new product available at bio ocean...and while you are there u can also check out macro other new products like ph controller, ORP controller, and auto top up

What about day and night current? should i have a timer for the tunze? To shut them off at night.

for that particular function, u can refer to the 7091, 7094 or 7095 controllers found here.
