Hi Guys

I just bought a Tang....from Sentosa Marine (Pasir Ris).....

Was told it was a "tommini" or something like that.....couldnt remember how to pronouce it...... :paiseh: ....There were 2 different spieces there...... :unsure:

Should have learn about the fish first but my Mdm saw it and it was love at first sight to her....so bo pian....

It is eating pallet now and it swims like a blue tang......very fast..... :lol:

By the way Sentosa got quite a number of nice Power Black (white cheek), Chocolate, Kole and a couple of "unidentify" tangs......or should I say I dont know the name of the tang fish........ :P ....Check them out!

Anyway, need some help to identifiy this Black Tang fish...... :thanks:

I found it....I found it!!! :yeah::yeah:

http://www.wetwebmedia.com/acanthurTngs.htm

"Acanthurus thompsoni (Fowler 1923), the White-Tailed Surgeonfish, a good name for this species except for its populations in Hawaii which bear no white on their tail areas. Another name for this planktivore is Thompson’s Surgeonfish. Though not a striking beauty, this Whitetail tang is a good feeder and stays moderate small (to ten inches). Rarely imported into the trade. A Hawaiian specimen, one from the Cooks and Australia's northern coast pictured."
