fire worm?!?! gosh...this is the first time i get to know such a worm.....

anway, just to share with you guys....last weekend, after scaping my rocks...my right hand started to itch the next day....so i think it advisable to put on gloves man...no joke... so now hows my hand...luckily still intact.......

Glove sometimes may not be useful too because their minu stings is very thin can penetrate those plastic gloves

if u kenna stings, go to wash affected area with warm water and apply mopiko

Its not stings,its their little bristle that gets embedded into your skin upon contact and hence the name bristleworm....

Anyway,these are good worms that help in your sandbed but i am not meaning these LARGE ones

heard from my friend that these bugger seldom move around....will appear once a while...damage to his previous tank? I supposed nothing as he did not mentioned anything to me...as for any kind of unknown bugger, i think it best not to use your hand to touch it....maybe someone can post a pic of fireworm...at least we can identify it.

Don't judge a marine life form by its look lah.

Many good\desired one doesn't have a "handsome" or colorful look one.

Gee.... mantis shrimp can be quite colorful too, some species.

Time to put on glove next time you wanna do big work in your tank.

ID is best done with specialist eh, suggest try "Dr. Ron"

You probably get a good macro\overall shot. And close shot its head\mouth will help the ID by these specialists more easily.

My experience with the bristleworms..

I found two long bristleworms when I decom my tank.. Haha, didn't dare to touch it at all.. Call me cruel or evil, but I took a chopstick and start poking them to death.. ... it was too gross.. had to kill it. haha.. hope no one flame me.
