i just bought a starfish afew days ago,and it seems to rot,dissolve and melted!!! now its gone,but another starfish i have orange in colour still very alive,may i know what might cause the reason for that starfish of mine to melt?

It was not healthy to begin with. Transport and adding it to your tank subjected it to more stress as it had to expend extra energy to adjust to your tank conditions. That's the reason why it died....

Always something more important than fish.
