SRC Member letdoit Posted June 13, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted June 13, 2005 hi to all i don't have chiller at the moment yet. Does chiller setting remain the same when i cut off the eletrical supply? example: i set temp 25 degree, when timer cut out for few hrs and cut in, will the chiller remain what i set 25 degree? 2 question: Does chiller also had build in auto timer when to cut in and out ( by time, not Temperature) I do know that it will cut off if Temperature reach. Just want to check does chiller have this extra feature?
lightningstrike
may i know what good does it does to hv ur chiller on timer control? by the time ur chiller cuts out for a few hrs using timer control, ur temp wld hv fluactuated way out of limits, considering the high ambient temp nowadays. I don't think it uses a lot of electricity when its not "cut-in", the only electricity used is to keep the controllers working and thats very minimal at most. Mine remains set even when the I shut down the power, ie. it will revert back to the previously set settings when power comes back on. i'm using a resun 650 chiller. This is what i notice singaporean forum. for the answer: 1) no 2) no that all how sure r u? 1) some chiller thermostat controllers do hv the previous preset temp setting in them even if u shut off the power. at least mine does. 2) most chillers do not built in timer control, but they do hv time delay functions of up to 30 mins. at least mine does.
