Hi guys... I have been reading different topics and have conflicting ideas on water-changing. How often shd we change? I know many factors come into place, like the use of skimmers, amount of live stock/corals, size of tanks, etc.

Im currently having a 2 feet wit corals and abt 8 small fishes, running a needlewheel skimmer too... currently i do a weekly 10 % change with tropic marin to be safe......but can i do it bi-weekly? i kinda wanna save in expense :P ..........

used to have a 2 feet with overflowing sump + prizm + FUGE for filtration purposes . with DSB of 6 inches in my FUGE and main tank.

i did around 30% water change to keep my nitrate value in place with marine environment . used to keep coral mah.

now with a small nano tank , i intend to do a 20 % water change a week since i am only going to keep 2 fishes .

:peace:
