Black layer in the sandbed pics wanted

Hi guys, I need those reefers who have the black layer in the sandbed to post some pics of the sand.

Preferable a front shot (showing the black layer) and a top down shot

And I would also appreciate a statement of the depth of the sandbed

Got this front shot of the black layer of my 5" DSB. Sorry could not take any top shot. Hope it helps.

Gee, my refugium is almost crowded with macroalgae, don't think it will give any good pic.

Maybe you looking for some patterns, and I may help "describe" it?
