Can elbiru eballast for pl be used?

i got an elibru eballast for 36w pl, can i use it to drive the 39w t5?

also, anyone can advise whether using a ballast without preheat features will shorten the lifespan of the tube drastically? in which case i would probably be getting a t5 ballast instead.

:Think should not have prom, but the bulbs will be under-rated. That means the intensity is not as strong as a 39w ballast. My 2 cents.

If the Elbiru E-ballast you have there indicates 36W - 39W. there shd not be any issue for you to drive 39W t5 tubes.

with a sudden shock, it will shorten the life of the tubes. We really cant tell visually but can tell by using a lux meter.

to avoid this, use a t5 eballast instead.
