You can get those acrylic cutter from DIY store, the way to cut is like cutting glass.

Use the cutter to cut a deep line/groove into the acrylic, bend the sheet away from the groove and it will snap off.....the tricky part is the line/groove cutting and bending the acrylic with support for snapping.

I usually place the sheet in between 2 plank, align the line before attempting to bend for it to snap off accurately on the line.

Hope it helps.

Hi there bro, try checking this article out:

Pressure Locking Sump Baffles; Welcome to a World of Versatility,

Joshua McMillen, from Wetwebmedia.com:

An easy to follow guide to making your own sump using acrylic sheets and other easily obtainable material, allowing one to have a modifiable sump with baffles that may easily be shifted ng to needs.

http://www.wetwebmedia.com/ca/volume...es/baffles.htm

you can get acrylic cutters at artfriend or sagacity at bras basah complex. its called a Giken Cutter. if youre planning to make lots of holes and all, perhaps you might like to consider using lfs ready made baffles. the polyart shop and C328 at clementi as well as aquastar at yishun sell these.

then you can just cut them to size.

cheers.

Acrylic cutters aka penknives are not good for thick (more than 3mm) acrylic. Its also nearly impossible to make a precision straight cut with a cutter on a thick piece of acrylic. Wish there are easier ways...

Alternatively, you can go to DAMA to get cut to size acrylic. They are VERY friendly and will even cut pieces for you if its only $2-$3 :D
