water yellowish?

I have just change 20% of water recently and realise the water is a bit yellowish? is this normal? what can i do to remove the yellow? and what might be the cause??

been thinking bout it but have no idea...

will active carbon remove the yellow in the water?

Bro,

u may wanna use RowaCarbon... has one of the lowest POI, something about leaching po4... RowaCarbon leaches the very low amounts of po4 back into the water... a good investment... :P

Alternatively, the buzz-word nowadays : OZONE!! :P

If you start with the cheaper carbons, be prepared for the carbon to feed your algae growth from the leaching PO4. Maybe you would like to consider putting in rowaphos or equivalent to help you tackle the PO4 in your tank too (if u have not done so)..

Haha! Buzz-word is right! Anyway, have seen ozone-generator at work in some tanks! Water very clear. :)

yap agreed .... use ozone.. :D but to take pre caution while using if not it may be haz to health :P
