Looking for a tank set.

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am new here, formerly into Planted Tanks but was introduce into Marine Reef by a friend. Being a new charector in this forum, think I better post something before I turn into a shady charecter. Firstly I did like to thank Da**St** for introducing me here. Really appreciate it. Have been reading for the past few days as I have been looking for a burget tank set.

During my search, I have came across some really nice tank and also others. After some compairison PMs and stuff, I came to the understanding of the "shady charector" clones etc. Upz..!!! for the Mods who really did a goot job on the "Warning Dept"

Basically, as advice by friends around me. I am looking for the following.

4ft cabinet tankset prefered 10 to 12mm glass with external sum.

5ft will also do but will be abit squeezy.(i would very much like to fit it at that empty space my 4ft planted tank used to be)

During my search, I have encounter some hickups. Seller without contact, not replying pm/sms, never state prices and spects of the tank. Thus nothing much I can do except bypassing them. Some of them just babble through my quries over defective produce.

As my target is within the month of June, hope you guys here can lend me a helping hand. Maybe friends? maybe fellow reefers? Hope I can find myself a tank here to make a start.

Best Regards to All... Ups for all sale!!

See attached pic of reef tankwhen it was a coral setup.

The tank dimensions are 5x2x2 ft.

I have since converted it to a Fish only with live rock. The system is ALMOST maintenance free, dun even need to change water. All you need to do is fill up the auto water leveller and add some salt to replenish the salt loss due to protein skimming. :D

I have successfully kept all my fishes without any desease or outbreak for 1.5 yrs.

I will share with you my knowledge, so dun worry even if you're a novice or beginner, It's very easy as my system is complete. All my fishes feed on Nori and pellet food "Piranha Style", very greedy eaters.

Wish to sell tank complete with livestock as I'll be going overseas.

(View the tank at my place if you're a serious buyer)

with the following fishes and size:

1) Blue Face Angels x 2 (8" and 5")

2) Blue Ring Angel x 1 (6")

3) Asfur Angel x 1 (4")

4) Majestic Angel x 1 (4.5")

5) Maculosus - Half Moon Angel x 1 (8")

6) Singapore Angel x 1 (2")

7) Powder Blue Tang (5")

8) SOHAL Tang (7")

9) Hippo Tang x 2 (4")

10) Purple Tang x2 (3")

11) Yellow Tang x 1 (3")

12) Sailfin Tang x 1 (4")

13) Naso Tang x 1 (5")

14) Cardinals

15) Misc other fishes.

As you can see, my fishes are all quite large!! :yeah:

The system is powered by:

40W Aqua Ultraviolet Sterilizer (check out www.aquauv.com)

Aquamedic Reef 3000 sump system (check out www.aquamedic.com)

- 2 turboflotor skimmers with Eheim power plants

- 1 Denitrator (modified to be completely maintenance free)

- 1 Calcium reactor (not being used at the moment)

- 2 Aquamedic return pumps UMP21

- Niveaustat Auto Water Leveller

All to go for $2000.
