Hyposalinity help

Hi,

Trying to get my water parameter down to 1.009 as recommended for hyposalinity treatment for ich infected LS.

Problem is: The tap water's salinity measured is higher then 1.009. How do I lower the salinity further?

Get a refactormeter to measure the SG, the TAP water should be at 1.000 as there is no salt in the tap water.

Try to get a pail of ur tank water out and add a pail of tap water. Measure it to check for the SG every now and then

If you are doing hyposalinity.. do make sure you use a refractometer....

Swing-arm types hydrometers are highly inaccurate
