Is there anyone using Weipro MH Light Hood? Any comments? Thanks

btw, the bulb need to be change as they are too yellow......they comes in osram bulbs.

I emailed Weipro and they give me the contact where I can fnd their MH light in Singapore. It is the LFS at Havelock Road. And they have a model with MH lights together with FL actinic tube.

If I put one on top of my tank, not sure if my tank can tahan the weight or not. I don't think I can drill the ceiling to do hanging type.

should do. cause I am using 6mm. (ya, I know alot of SRC mbrs

told me its not good for marine.) but matter not in my hands.

They allow you to change the bulb type to different type such as 10,000k (I think around 720).

My estimate DIY cost for similar 2x150W MH:

- MH Set with socket, ballast, capacitor: S$110x2 = S$220

- Aluminium/Wire= S$50

- Used FL Casing = $50

- BLV 10,000K (price from qan) = $175 x2

Total = $670

Thus if I search the component hard enough, I might save around $100-$150. If I get someone to DIY and add labour cost, the cost is closer.

It depends on what bulb you are getting, ranging from $600-$750.
