SRC Member panlee Posted September 9, 2003 Author SRC Member Share Posted September 9, 2003 It is something similar to: http://www.eaquanature.com/store/product_i...products_id=222 I emailed Weipro and they give me the contact where I can fnd their MH light in Singapore. It is the LFS at Havelock Road. And they have a model with MH lights together with FL actinic tube. If I put one on top of my tank, not sure if my tank can tahan the weight or not. I don't think I can drill the ceiling to do hanging type.

SRC Member panlee Posted September 10, 2003 Author SRC Member Share Posted September 10, 2003 They allow you to change the bulb type to different type such as 10,000k (I think around 720). My estimate DIY cost for similar 2x150W MH: - MH Set with socket, ballast, capacitor: S$110x2 = S$220 - Aluminium/Wire= S$50 - Used FL Casing = $50 - BLV 10,000K (price from qan) = $175 x2 Total = $670 Thus if I search the component hard enough, I might save around $100-$150. If I get someone to DIY and add labour cost, the cost is closer.

SRC Member panlee Posted September 11, 2003 Author SRC Member Share Posted September 11, 2003 It depends on what bulb you are getting, ranging from $600-$750.
