also seen quite a few pairs of foxface, all are quite large in size....definitely unsuitable for a reef-tank

calms are also spotted....different sizes too....brown and blue...looked like teardrop maximas if u ask me

black sea cukes are also very very common.....but they looked more like sea-apples....with colored "studs" lined

looked like the one in the pic....but only they have black as their base color

we used to drive to kuantan few yrs back.. here only a few hrs further up ba? driving allows freedom of travel.. means u can drive ard there and visit diff site wor.. dad was saying shld be able to find a place to park maybe at the jetty or watever.. he said :" pay $ lar"

lotsa tomato clowns and anemones at the deeper reefs....

from juz at the water surface.....the anemones looked like the common brown ones we can find at lfs....

very risky indeed.....btw....the jetty is quite "dilapitatd".....different sections of the jetty is divided to different resorts.....

i too saw 'bout a couple of black-tip reef sharks at deeper waters.... ( im serious)

and bout a school of 4 squids the size of ur palm....

coral-wise, not very satisfying as im only near the more shallow areas( probably the height of two men).....

so there are only a few species of corals...

Thought redang is at terengganu? Its much further than kuantan. Think around 10hours from SG?

believe it or not.....i actually triggerfishes on 2 different occasions......both are 'bout the size of >17" (no kidding).....pretty large....and was below me......

not really sure whether its the actual species of triggerfish i saw on the pic...
