well today was a weird day ... except for the heater everything went well haha i install some lighting 2 x 10 w fluros that i had laying around right up the glass and to my amazement the whole sump glass was over of pods mostly copepods but i saw some others... but then i saw i flat worm .... he quite big around 3-4cm big he cant get out of the sump i was wonder if i should kill him ? i heared they eat acros ?

also is 20w enough lighting for macro aglae ?

Well seems nothing good has happened this week all back luck

i cant seem to find my twin spotted goby i think he was eaten by my bta or something i dont really know cause no corpse ...

here some new picture i took this after noon for some reason in the morning the yuma look really green but in the afternoon it's goes brown i really need to bring down my phos atm it's at 1 .... hopeful the rowaphos will take it out soon ...

just an update

i finally had time to take a picture of my first sps colony and i finally undid the wedding veil of the yuma frag AND I CANT BELIEVE the colours from the frags. and i recut the mother yuma (seem to grown quite fast)

i saw a post last time 1 polp which was only size of a 5cent was was like 60+ aussie dollars (70 + SGD) so i am very lucky to get them i hope to get more sps soon and i need to reduce the nitrates in my tank seem there still abit in my tank >.>

hey all

its been a while since i updated lol ...

anyway been hell busy since this month my company should be starting to sell what i planned (marine livestock)

anyway i redid my whole system even the prog system

lets start with the display tank

anyway i had my dream tank which was the 4ft but after awhile i come to reason that my dream tank is my nano tank

so basicly i pulled down my whole 4ft setup and changed to a semi cube tank i think its about 36 x 36 x 51 cm

basicly it using an overflow siphon cause i didnt want to cut a hole since u know i might want to change tank again lol

anyway this picture was taken 14th of sept 2005 the whole system has been running around 1 month now

incudling the main tank there is a sump that has a dsb which hasnt started up yet and some macroaglae

in the main tank it has 2 x 1400lph powerhead

and in sump i have a 4800lph running the weipro skimmer and a 1400 pump for the return

atm u can see there is very very little space for corals now except for small frags

its a mixed tank with zoo mushroom leather sps u name it i got it i think

after have a talk to blueheave about cleaning crews cause i had a problem with sand for awhile with all my tanks and i decide to try out something new

i am quite happy how he has cleaned the whole sand bed and he seems to be growning fast >.> (i hope he doesnt overgrow to much)

anyway last week i got some new items

there are some other zoo but they havent fully open yet some are yellow so i take a picture of them later

i also missed the birdnest that they had T_T but i get it next time

for now i got this yellow acro which i havent id yet

i got some more pictures of my corals inside my tank once i got time

here is the holding tanks for my company

this is the first tank i have another one but it hasnt been setup yet since we want to see how long does stock take to sell

its quite messing atm but i fix that later atm it has 4800 return pump and a

13000lph flow pump inside

one of the problems atm i having is that the vibrations of the pump are quite loud ... but i find a way to soften them somehow

in the tubes i just got some live rock that i had left over from my display tank and 2 chromis that my friend nearly killed in his tank >.> i gotta fix up his tank later this week so this is their temp home until then

we be using a 400w radium 14k with spider reflector all the way from singapore

inside we making a stand so the corals will be only around 12 cm away from the water level so they get quite alot of lighting

the skimmer i hope to use is a beckkett from my friend who is making it for me

or i was thinking to just buy one but we see how

anyway i post later with some pics of the corals

also i setup a small tank next to my display tank for the frog fishes i saw a pink 2 days ago i hopeful will get him or her

also 13 DAYS UNTIL MY BDAY

i kana bite from female clown fish today she thought my hand was food ><

also sorry about the photo job the macro is not that great on the camera and my hand not that steady either lol i getting a new camera soon (atm its a powershot cannon S40) also i found out my pictures are coming more blue than usally so i asked a few friend and they said its my white balance so all my picture have been auto leveled by photoshop to the real colours no more blued pics

yesterday such a bad day my sister went to operation but she recoering atm (had to get stuff removed) then my pipe in the return pump of the holding tank came off and i lost about 100L+ of water T_T so i gotta order some more NSW and my sister pose to bring me lfs for my bday yesterday but she was in hospital so cant go i make her feel bad so she buy me alot of corals next time we go

anyway on to the pictures

first picture is a monti encrusting type i think pink background with green poply i first had it wasnt in the best of shape and had RTN the day after i put it in it nearly died on me i had only about ... 3 polpies on the main rock and i had a bit on the frag which i saved but ever since then its regrown really well and fast

next is a devil's finger which i picked a few weeks ago it was green but for some reason it changes to brown then changes back to green dont know why

this is my sps rock i put all my small sps frags on this rock (sky shot)

Pocillopora - from white yellow to brown(from all my nurients) with green tips but all i just did a huge water change about 1 week ago since i didnt do a water change for over 2 months and now the sps are getting their colours back

a green acro i think milli or something anyone id confirm it ? and i wish the polpys were green too

this was a baby blue tip with green acro then it browned in my tank but the colour is return as u can see at it's tips
