Help on Skimmer

I have a Redsea Berlin Venturi Skimmer. Recently, notice that it has a lot of foam (it would over spill out of the tiny hole on the holding container and sometime it overflow out of the skimmer) and the skimmate is very watery.

I have tried to close the air valve to the minimum, but the result is still the same.

Can anyone with the similar skimmer, pls tell me how to tune it to have more concentrated skimmate and lesser foam?

did u add any new additives to your tank recently? also check for any livestock deaths.

yup Sugar to reduce NO3. No fishes died.

yea then the skimmer is just dealing with the die off from the bacteria bloom. nothing to do with the tuning. let it run, dun add anymore sugar and it will resume normal skimming soon.
