My New Barebottom Setup

I have enter into the 2nd day of my Barebottom system

using 100 percent Seawater from iwarna

Have transfer all my corals into this seawater

So far no death have been reported

Sps still doing well ~~ Polyps open fully up to date

Clam still ok without sandbed

Can see Water movement all over the tank with my tunze 6060

Water parameter is 1.023

no2 = 0 , no3 = not check yet

Po4 = 0.1 mg ...Will be starting my zeovit system again

Kh = 7 Calcium level 400

Sparking clean and clear Water

Anyone facing the problem of getting zeobak now

It seems that it always out of stock and have to wait

for weeks to arrive~~~

Now i have to run aqua z purephos first , as cant run the zeovit

reactor without zeobak

After 1 week of bare bottom change ~~ so far so good ....

can see a bit colouring up

Still waiting for camera to post pictures here lol

Hope more reefers using BB can give more ideas and views

you tried shops other the PR for your zeobak???? they are not the only one selling these stuff you know (in fact they don't even carry zeostart2....claims that they will never bring it in until stock for the older version clears up...)

Tried Ocean Planet also claim no more stock liao

I wonder wat will happen if one day local Lfs no more carrying

Then as our sps too get used to this system , might have other

problem adapting another system

Just stick to the no frills approach. Lower cost and no headache if stock runs out. Just improve your coral keeping skills. That's all to it. Look at Scarab just DSB, skimmer, rowaphos and no zeovit, zeobak or all that fancy stuffs.

Andy, if no more LFS carries the zeovit product then you can always mail order it from Germany

I guess more people trying out the zeovit system that is why the zeobak seems to be always out of stock, you need some planning too, when your zeobak left with 1/2 bottle, it's time to looking for it already.
