Finding out which is the best shortie (24") in-sump skimmer in the market for >600L tank that can produce cotton like foam and less than SG$1000.

Appreciated if owners of H&S 850L, Mini-beckett (<25"), Deltec AP525,AP600,APF600,Euro-reef.........users can attach a picture of their skimmer foam at the tip of their collection cup.

Mini-Beckett users pls indicate the type of pump use.

Thanks,

Eric

Skimmate would vary depending on variables like bioload, temperature and vicosity of the water. Not accurate to compare different skimmers when they are running on different tanks. Just my opinion...

Always something more important than fish.

Skimmate would be different for each tank, but the foam type would more or less tell you the potential of the skimmer.

Just like no matter how dry I tune my Macro, the foam bubbles overflow from the tip will never be "cotton type", most is Dry medium sizes bubbles stick together.

So far only saw that kinda foam at tall beckett skimmer, will try to get a pic of it next time I go down to Irwana.

Looking for a short skimmer (<24") that can achieve the same type of foam.
