Fowlr Tank in the making

The first inhabitants of this fowlr community are two starfishes. Orange & blue respectively. Apart from them, 3 electric blue legged hermits & 5 snails wld be my cleaning crew.

bro... can add also... but u wun noe if the eels will burrow where 1... it may burrow behind the rocks like my eel.... but its still veri interesting to have some garden eels.... btw graden eel eats pytoplanton dunno can weans it to eat frozen or not leh....

The sargassum anglerfish (Histrio histrio) which I have kept were voracious feeders, and were active predators rather than the ambush style of the Antennariidae. Hence, if you keep an Antennarius angler with this fish, make sure that the former has a chance to eat.

The sargassum anglerfish is classified as an angler (belonging to the Family Antennariidae as all other frogfishes). It's genus is different (Histrio compared to the Antennarius of others). Information in the fishbase:

guys, thanks for sharing the information with me. . anyway i got this fella earlier at one of the pasir ris farms. Current LS in my tank includes two garden eels and 3 starfishes (there's actually 4, but one of e starfish ate up another smaller starfish). Therefore do u think i sld separate this starfish from others? *its the one in the pic above*

just to add, i will be taking over the ownership of lester's other bamboo shark. . do u think there will be any issues between the angler, eels n shark?

Guys, just to keep u updated. I decided to upgrade my current 2x1.5x1.5 fowlr tank to a 3.5x2.5x2.5 ft fowlr tank. Its even bigger than my main coral tank. . lol. . will post pics soon. . now the shark move out from a 2 rm flat to a mansion.

Bro lester, my apologies that the shark wld have to be with ya for another couple of weeks. I didnt plan to upgrade my current fowlr to a bigger one also. . but it happened. . and anyway i am sure the fishes wld be happier in a 3.5x2.5x2.5 ft tank.
