Diy T5 Light Holder

I have just DIY 3ft T5 light holder, now waiting for my reflector to complete.

add Actinic blue tube for my tank.

just a suggestion......

if u mount on a aluminum holder and the hassle of getting a suitable reflector, i rather mount it at a normal FL housing....

reflector included and eballast are hidden.... and they look cool.....

but the normal housing get rusty very fast......

Ballast... in my cabinet... cos i need my light to slide forward and backward..

How many feet you need?

doing a 3 ft (4 tube) for main tank and one 2 ft (2 tube) for refugium.

u use a dremel?

buy an existing housing and replace the internals?

buy a used or new housing......to save cost, look for a used ones.....

get the casing, replace the internal.....

I only know you can get Delteq T5 bulb from Hong Leong and ATI T5 bulb from WaterCircle and eAquaNature. Anyone knows other places?

Dr Evil...what fluorescent housing are you talking about? I don't know of any that include reflector...

all FL lights sets comes with a reflector rite........ i never come across any FL lights sets that dont come with a reflector
