Pics taken off CoralSearch, not from my tank.

I have this in my tank... not sure is it a Cynarina or Scolymia, doesn't look like a cynarina to me, cos' cynarina is a little translucent, and also doesn't look like a prata to me either...

when it expand... it is huge.. 1½ times the size of a CD disk...

anyone has any clue ?

yes yes. ... same same :lol::lol: but then it doesn't look like those typical cynarina where they have translucent tissue that can see their skeleton ley... maybe a diferent kind of cynarina species?

by the way, where and how much you bought yours har?... :P

this is my first cyarina, got it at iwar** for 35 bucks. . it sld be a cyarina. . no doubts about that. . :D

Hey... i found some info on the internet... Kareen, i think this will help you.

Acidjazz, think ours is a scolymia.. do you think? so after reading the info from this website... this website has a pic of a scolymia.. look more like what we have.. :)

:D ... i was the one started asking the question what are the differences.. so make me no better than a novice. anyway, we all learn by sharing info.

sigh... thought i bought myself a cynarina, but end up a scolymia. Anyway, i think not many have scolymia in their tank also.. :lol: so our might be a precious.. :lol:

Now i have a good excuse to buy myself a cynarina ! ... :lol::lol:
