Hi ,

Can anyone tell me why i constantly have brown diatoms on the surface that my flow is aimed at ? I remember that one of the causes of brown diatom on glass is due to low flow but this is happening in my high flow surfaces. Anyway to get rid of it ? Tried of glass scraping. Will UV help ?

My water ;

Sg:1.023

Temp : 28

NO3 :10

PO4 : 0

My lighting ; MH 150W 10k + t5 x 24 x2 : T5 10hrs, MH 6hrs
