DIY 250W MH

I face some problem while i am DIY my 250w mh today

i am using a magnetic ballest with Radium bulb it cant seem to fire up. However there is a bUzzzzing sound around the ballast.

i began to suspect that my wiring is wrong ... but cant be as i had follow the wiring of a 150MH which is also DIY.

The only problem that i can think of is can a Radium bulb fire up by a magnetic ballast ? As i heard before that some bulb cannot be fire up by magnetic ballast.

Can any Radium bulb user let me know what kind of ballast u guys using ?

It can run on a magnetic ballast. Maybe u try to draw out how you wired it or take a picture

hi bro,

not all 150watts wiring are the same. that will depend on the brand of the magnetic ballast n ignitor.

if u follow the diagram properly, u wont go wrong.

why not buy a ballast that is wired instead of making urself get trouble by the wiring.

all magnetic ballast should be able to fire the radium bulb
