anokaina
hi there, glad to see another reefer getting nori actually if you had followed a nori thread here... you would know what to do... anyway from my experience: i feed brine shrimp, so my fish are used to them to introduce nori into their diet, you have to do it slowly... put your nori into warm water, they will expand, dun throw straight into tank...takes too long in cold water to expand... mix nori ( alittle bit for day 1), with brine....nori will absorb the taste... some experts use garlic juice or what...u can try... then you throw the shrimp with nori...they shoudl mix pretty well.. you will notice your fish will eat the nori! why? cos it tastes like shrimp!?! hahhah try that... SRC Member Dazza Posted September 8, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted September 8, 2003 Maybe u shd chop yr nori into bite sized pieces. I then usually soak the nori in garlic guard for a couple of hrs b4 feeding. All my fishes love it. I alternate my types of fish food so evryday they get different "menu"- frozen brine shrimp, mysis, nori, spiruline, flakes, pellets, fresh prawn , squid & one day of no feeding at all.
