goby tank

This was the 1st tank in my house and after I upgraded to the 4ft tank, it was converted to keep eels. The eels mostly 'committed suicide' by jumping out of the tank. The last that didn't (actually he did but I managed to save him in time), ate everything I put in, including mantis (which I did want him to eat), a lionfish and another small eel I tried to introduce to him as a companion. So, 4 eels later... I've decided to keep gobies instead!

And here's introducing them... *drumrolls*

Nice little fellow from Henry's last shipment... griessingeri goby

Gosh, gobies in a four footer? You gotta hunt for them, man! :D:lol:

I kept a yashia goby in my five footer previously... hardly come out for 1 month... too tiny for a big tank so I gave it away to someone who has a nano...

Hmmm..looks like I'm not the only one who keep gobies in 4 footer.. Welcome to the goby addiction! :eyebrow: Gobies can be seen regardless of your tank size, as long as no big fish are swimming continuously around them as gobies are by nature very shy fish.

IMO 4 feet is just right to keep gobies. Just make sure no strong pumps mince them up. :)

Always something more important than fish.

"Dear Aunt Agony,

My boyfriend is a married man.... but I love him.... but at the same time I know I can't have a future with him as he said he will never leave his wife. I want to leave him and realise I am still very much in love with him.... oh... I'm in pain.... I dun want to be the 3rd party... at the same time my friends are saying he is only taking advantage of me.... but I always think about the wonderful times we have together.... oh.... I'm so in love.... but should I leave him? But I love him very much! He treat me good.... but at times will neglect me for his family.... I think I should leave him... but I still can't cos I love him so much.... OH...... please tell me what to do?

another sad case of monkey see monkey do.why would anyone want to pay so much for a fish that u dun see it for more than 18 hours a day?

do you know wat it feeds on? how do you propose to maintain a regular supply of its food?

<_<

anyway...just my opinion. its just the right way to start my 1st post.

haha... monkey see monkey do?? unfortunately, that's our world and i'm sure u've done that some point in ur life 2. B) anyway, its good to always find out more about a fish before attempting to keep it. I'm sure the price is a deterent for many anyway.

If ur question was directed at me, yes I do know what they eat and I know where to find its regular supply of food. I bought the fish from Henry and its my practice to ask questions before buying the fish.

And oh, what a way to start off ur 1st post! hahaha...
