Haha...dun know what my remaining one feeds on but it has been with me for the past two months plus...after his counterpart became sashimi for my Cowie aka cowfish... :P

What I know is that I do feed a variety of food to my fish and mushies and it may get its supplement then...the following is what I can think of...

1) Ocean Nutrition Formula Two

2) Nauplii

3) Brine Shrimps

4) Phytoplankton

5) pallet food

6) Cyclop-freeze(Dun know if I spelt correctly)

Anyway, they are rather cute when they move...but like to stay in the shade, maybe because of my 'scallops-eating' fish... :P

Got 2 scallops in my tank too...been with me for 3 weeks+ already...somehow they tend to hide behind the rocks where it is darker...dunno why...maybe they don't like light? I just leave them there...

Just make sure you feed alot...for me I'm dosing phyto everyday now..used to be once every 2 days..but oh well...see no harm dosing everyday...got skimmer.

Always something more important than fish.

These scallops need ALOT ALOT of plankton as food.... u must feed live plankton excessively, else they will die eventually due to starvation.... not recommended for beginners... even veterans may not be successful.... :(

This is wat I read, perhaps someone who has successfully kept them for more than a few years can share their experince?

It can take up to 6 months for a flame scallop to starve to death, so until you can keep it longer than half a year, it's not really considered successful feeding.
