Is this fish easy to keep ?

Looks like a chaetodontoplus personifer, aka personifier angel, to me. Dunno if prone to ich, but one thing for sure... it's not coral safe. Unless of course if it's tank raised and only eating feed.

Yeah thats a black velvet alright. :lol:

Agree its a nice fish, very attractive muted colors.

But do make sure its feeding before buying it home. ;)

And may need a tank with good growth of macro algae for grazing.

:thanks: for all the answers and encouragement. The specimen I saw in the LFS is a juvenile black poma and is eating. I am afraid it is prone to white spot and infect my other fishes in the tank.

I have a six line wrasse, splitlevel hogfish and maroon clown and I don't want to take the risk and put in a fish without quarantine.

Very difficult decision to make leh. Maybe pay for the fish and ask the LFS to quarantine for me for 3 weeks :nc:
