What is the optimum water level for macro AS250?

I just bought a macro AS250, but then they manual doesn't say where the water level should be...

Any ideas?

bro, it sld be some where at the neck. you can tune the macro acoordingly. placement of ur pump will affect the performance of ur macro though.

u go search forum n type "macro" will have a lot of useful links for you. for macro to work, the pump sld be some where like 10cm or less below the water surface, so most likely u need a stand. however, its all individual, maybe ur macro works for you but not for me.

ah... actually no problems with my pump.. it's churning out a lot of bubbles...

just not sure what is the water level I should adjust it to.. now it's set at just before the neck starts to constrict...
