six66 Posted April 26, 2005 Share Posted April 26, 2005 to all beckett users ... i'll be getting my 8" skimmer from ian (i~aquatic) in a week's time pls share with me how to install the skimmer ... ie placement, hoses, pvc joints n things alike. technically or threotically what problems did u face when installing the skimmer ... and if u hv a 2nd chance to redo the installation, what would u do ?? If u are placing out sump, then the outlet from the beckett muz be higher than ur sump in order to prevent back flow. i suppose u sldnt place the beckett too far away, so as to maximise the efficiency. and one other thing, when u first get the beckett try to observe it for a day and adjust the tuning, if not tsunami might happen.
