Shall i DIY myself a tank?

i a new here.. thinking of settup up a marine tank .. but dun have a tank.. uncle working in a glass factory .got lots of spare glass.. thinking of DIY one.. or shall i just buy one ?? which will save the trouble.??

i personally think buy is better cos if diy then anything goes wrong .. cannot claim... nowadays tanks veri cheap only .. but before that wat is ur tank dim? wat u wan to keep and do u need to drill holes ?

buy one .. !! unless u have the skill to silcon properly ..

its not as easy to silicon glass.. if never do properly .. it either leak or break .. so be on the safer side .. buy one .

unless you REALLY have the skills then go for it.. but often if you buy the material yourself you might just end up paying more coz the tank makers usually have their own supplier for materials...

but seriously.. it's safety first.. if you don't have the skills or are not confident of your skills don't risk it!

nowadays tanks are so much cheaper.....DIY urself maybe cost u more than u buy...and alot of time wasted!

many of our bro reefer here has good and experience plus cheap tanks maker.. maybe u would as around first then settle for a design that suit u .. i am sure u will find something to both ur liking and ur pocket

The tank itself should not be the piece of equipment to save and scrimp on... in fact, you should invest the most in the tank itself...
