1) 3by2by2 10mm glass with stainless steel stand( those shiny type)

2) macro JS300L skimmer with ATMAN 106 pump...

3) seio 620

4) Rio800 with rotating arm..

3) 2 set of 36W x 2 PL light , 1 set of 24W x 2 PL light...

Tank arrived yesterday...have add in water and salt and 15kg of grade0 sand.....will add in another 15kg and LR tonight.....currently using a OHF filter to circulate the water.

hmmm, thinking in mind is :

1) 1 X powder blue tang

2) 2 X true clown

3) 1 X yellow tang

4) 1 X small regal angel

some easy to keep coral....

add in 30kg of grade 0 sand liao, sandbed still around 1 inch..think need to get more tonight.

I have the same size tank as urs, and I have 70Kg of grade 0 sand to make it to about 5 inch sandbed. U may need also 80 to 100 Kg of LR.

thinking of adding maybe around 30 to 40 kg of LR only...want to keep a PBT, so will need some space for it to swim around.. currently LR is around 30kg...

bro, ur tank have space for 100kg of rocks! haha. . maybe u can cuild two cliffs for ur tangs as playground. since u just got ur tank, how long will u cycle b4 throwing in the pbt?

i threw in one powder brown after a month plus but it didnt make it, therefore i was talking to this very very senior reefer (18 yrs of reefing!!) and he suggested tt i add in powder tangs last bcuz they are more unstable. actually his exact words are. . "prob after a yr then u sld introduce the powder" Naso or yellow tang wld be easier to keep though.

same sentiments. . i think one year can throw in AT already. when tt senior told me a year. . my eyes . maybe he's over cautious. . i dunno. . but 2-3 months quite short also. despite how much i love tangs, i have to resist the temptation of getting them for the next 4-5 mths at least.

tt's a good idea. i have two tangs in my tank currently. one is naso, the other dunno wad name. Both are feeding on frozen shimps and are healthy, free of itch! but i am still having phobia, no addition of tangs for the next 4 mths.
