which tang to intro first ???

thinking of keeping YT,BT,PT n BT.. but not veri sure which to intro first therefore wanted to know more on it first ... Which shall be intro first into the tank to prevent them from fighting ??

Make sure your tank is big enough for them. Cause the last time i put my yt and pt together thing turn ugly. Hope you got better luck. The best if you can intro your tang all at the same time. Only one advice cross your fingers and hope for the best.

Hi Lester,

I have a Yellow Tang, Purple Tang and a Blue Tang.

I introduce the fishes in this order Purple Tang, Yellow Tang followed by Blue Tang.

Bought the Purple tang from a reefer and kept it for abt 6 mths before I bought the Yellow Tang.

Yellow Tang kena chia lat from the Purple... fins got all torn and this fighting went on for 1 week. Use mirror also no use and thought the yellow will sure die.

But now they are the best of friends - both fish with me for abt 2 years now.

No such prob when I introduce the Blue Tang later as this bugger is twice the size of the other two. :lol:

I would recommend you introduce them in this order... Blue Tang, Yellow Tang and then Purple cos purple is the most aggressive. But no guarantee that they won't fight... :eyebrow:

brought them at diffrent time, they are the best of friend now.

Being with me for about ayear already.Recently just brought a PT

from a young reefer as he's going ns soon.in my tank for already

bout 2 week.Still being bully by the 3 , but the fight is not too bad

just chasing.

try to intro the PT & YT together at the same time...cos they will still fight wif each other even though u intro which one first...my 2 cents :evil:
